Ok...now I've never been involved in anything like this -
as far as I understood: ppl send each other some special items from their country - and the character of this item(s) is going to be set - or has been set to be sweets? :)
If I finally got this thread - if this is right - then count me in :)
Wendy? :) Wanna get some chcolate from Switzerland :P ? |

Right, the only people not sending sweets are Yulia Nox and Swede Boy. She's not allowed to send food items out of her country and Swede Boy is on some awful diet that does not include candy.
Kristy will arrange who is partnered with whom. |

(damn it, now I want to participate just for the sake of participating, but I won't have the time to find sth special anyway *double-sigh*, so I hope I'm excused - and I hope you'll let me participate this Christmas, because I'm REALLY looking forward to sending someone some German Christmas kitsch! :D)
have fun, everyone! I highly recommend Nora as a partner, Swiss chocolate is just... *yumm* :D... (and "Basler Leckerli"! ;D)
*off to dissertation-(not-so-)wonderland again* |

Sadly for those of us in the northern hemisphere it's not really a good idea to receive chocolate at this time of year. |

Stick it in your mouth and close your lips around it. Then hum.
That's what she said.
Oh, Linds. Your new avatar is wonderful! Did you just try to find the BIGGEST Dougie smile ever? lol! He makes me happy!
Thanks Nikki. This is probably my favorite Dougie pic. Ditto on the "he makes me happy". |

Im not really too concerned about chocolate melting*. It's hot, but its not like its going to sit out for a long time.
So, maybe it is just an issue with those in Texas or other uber hot locals.
*and even if it does, I dont care. I love chocolate

At Easter I went to get chocolate for the kids and foolishly did several errands after, leaving the chocolate in the car. Even in April it's already 12,000 degrees here. It got totally melted to the point of liquid and even putting it in the fridge did not help. It never was quite right again.
