I was tempted to stop at White Castle on my way home, because Ive never been to one, but I wasn't hungry when I passed one, and then didnt see another one.
Next time.

No. It's a good thing you didn't stop. Grey meat, Kristy. Grey, steamed, square mystery meat.

Really? No! They're known to be like the most horrible hamburger ever. People make fun on them.

By the way, I'm sorry I didn't get that "BLT order" for you last night, lol. Doing it now.

I fear Nikki is presenting a rather one-sided view of the White Castle hamburger. I expected more from a journalist of such integrity. I will argue for the defense.

The White Castle hamburger is generally a love-it or hate-it food. Very few people are in between.

The patty is square, small, very thin, with holes in it so that it will cook quickly. It is fried on a griddle with minced onions. The bun is steamed, I guess, so it is very soft and readily absorbs the grease from the meat. This is an important part of the White Castle experience. And they come in cute little individual boxes.

I enjoy a good White Castle every so often. Not an every day food, of course, but every few months I will admit to having the crave. (I get mine without onions, which is nearly impossible. The flavor is still there, but I remove the hangers-on.)

The White Castle does have certain reputations. Being greasy (which I don't mind) which has resulted in the nickname "slider" and for producing excess gas in some individuals, etc.

The one thing I will say is that White Castle employs the most brainless employees of all fast food chains and they are all but incapable of correctly filling an order that varies at all from the standard menu.

All in all, you should try one. We will make it a point to take you to White Castle on your next trip to Michigan.

Okay, Im not sure how I feel about them even after hearing both sides, but I think I should atleast try one.

I dont think they have any in upstate NY, so it will have to be in Mighican indeed.

What about Big Boy? Are they any good? Or do they just have mascots that stare at boobs? Wait, is the restaurant actually called Big Boy? Or is that just the mascot? I clearly didnt pay attention. Im thinking the boob staring is due to the check he had just recieved.

Get on with your sandwich order indeed, missy!

Um yeah I don't have pics since my camera was "lost" the whole time you guys were there. (In this case lost means it was in my purse but I didn't find it when I looked there)

I HATE that picture of me and Nikki in the Alice in Wonderland room. Please photoshop me out of it. Thanks.
