I am so excited to go to this show. I am flying in from South Texas just for it, it is my very first Travis show, and it is on my 26th birthday!
Anyone have any idea how to maybe meet the band for a minute? I would love to just have a picture taken with them and let them know that I have waiting for years and years to see them live. |

Wow that sounds like the best birthday present ever! I know that you'll have an amazing time.
99% of the time the band comes out after and you will be able to meet them, get stuff signed, get a pic, etc.
It's fairly simple: find the bus, find the band. You may have to wait awhile but it is certainly worth it.
I'm from Austin and will be going to Chicago to see them. |

That was my original plan, but, being that its in Vegas, I don't know if that will be the case. I am assuming they will be staying at the Mandalay Bay (where the House of Blues is located), so there would be no bus to find outside. I am hoping they will just stick around after the set or be found out in the casino or something.
In any event, I'll have plenty of time to wander around, wait and look. |

I would actually be surprised if they stayed there. And who knows they might have commitments (interviews, etc.) that make it to where they are leaving that night for the next city.
You could also do some recon work before the show to scope out the back entrance and see if the bus is there. |

Hey, hope you have a great time at the gig. Don't forget to sing and shout and dance and sing and bounce and sway. And grin broadly throughout of course :)
They're bound to be around the tourbus afterwards and there will probably be a few people milling around there at the end of the show. Don't worry about missing them, it can take an hour or more before they come out, maybe you can chat to some people. They always seem really happy to meet their fans. Tell them to do some gigs in Britain soon :) (that last one's optional!) |
