hey,

Push Menu and the center disc at the same time. In a few seconds you should see the main screen go dark and then the Apple logo show up. After a bit the iPod will come back to the main "login" screen.

i've always thought there is no such thing as a stupid question, so much so that i managed to get myself thrown out of a class at 13 for arguing with a teacher over this belief(although i'm certain i've proabably said the exact same thing to kids at some stage myself:( )

sometimes though i think people should just google things, but sometimes its just handier to ask friends.
