Hi all

it's Stefano here. Since we're supposed to share and love the same kinda music, I thought you would like my band Pipers. We have put out 3 songs from the debut album. Still unsigned.

We hope you can love the tracks, they are on myspace at

www.myspace.com/pipers2006

The stuff was recorded in Milan and mastered in London by Bunt Stafford Clark (Elbow, Embrace, Doves and Suede among the credits).

Any feedback posted on here and myspace is welcome, appreciated and encouraged.

Cheers

Stefano

I'll have a listen as soon as I get the room to myself, promise! At the moment my sister's watching football and I don't have earphones with me.

Good luck with what you're trying to achieve. I've had a listen to your songs and I like what I hear. Here's hoping you can find a way of getting it out to a wider audience.

Personal favourite is probably "no-one but us" - I really like the drum beat. I also like the accoustic "Don't ask for more". Least favourite is maybe "sick of you" because it reminds me of too many other songs and groups.
Good Luck with getting started.

i think a new band should always have a very radio friendly and catchy song. sick of you is one of them.
we don't want to sell our ass, i personally prefer no one but us. i understand you. and i still have to upload my faves, but think when you're a small band you have to push the stuff capable of reaching the most people.

if people is captured by a song then is more likely they will hear the rest of stuff with a positive mood and thought.

am i wrong?

anyway if you like the acoustic Travis mood (and i think you do)
go to
www.rockit.it/pipers
Click on the album "First record acoustic version" and listen to the acoustic song "Eveline".

I think this song is very gentle and bright, this is the acpoustic version. it's taken from our first record.

don't wanna make any comparison, just give you an input. Just enjoy the song!
