I just saw a commerical for a new Anne of Green Gables movie and it looks HORRID.
Anne of Green Gables: A New Begining, with some horrible child actor.

| I can't watch the video where I am right now but this sounds like pure horror. I've always loved Anne, and I can't imagine her being played by anyone but Megan Follows :o) |

Well, it is being done by Kevin Sullivan. He's the same guy who did the other Anne. So at least we know it will be done with the same flavor. The girl, we'll just have to wait and see. Barbara Hershey as grown-up Anne? I question that.

no, it was the commerical that I saw on tv.
Im sure there is something on youtube you though. Or the ctv website. www.ctv.ca
You may not be able to view content outside of Canada though. Not sure. |

I just saw that. On CTV. I'm guessing I won't be able to see it.
I remember watching the mini-series on CBC when Anne first came out in the 80's. |

I actually thought of it last night after i posted. "hmm, i didnt put ashleys name in there" but there wasnt really enough room for EVERYONE. So, umm, it is in order of...me finding out people were Anne fans! Sure, there ya go. If it makes you feel any better, Nikki isnt in there either and i just found that she is an AofGG fan.
My deepest apologies!
and yes it is on CTV, not CBC as per usual. They have a lot of their programming streaming online, but once again, not sure if you can watch it outside of Canada on that.
Sure, i can write a story about Ashley!
And it is indeed blasphomy, although i doubt Megan Follows could play an 8 year old. Talented as she may be.
(my brother had a friend growing up who used to claim Megan Follows was his cousin. Never knew if it was true. This dude, also grew up to be hot beyond belief). |
