I went to see Kaiser Chiefs, REM, The Mars Volta and Bloc Party yesterday.
I had waaaaaaaay too much fun, especially pogoing to Kaiser Chiefs and being squashed in the front!
My body hurts but my heart is still jumping haha :o)

Just got back from seeing Sondre Lerche and it was amazing. It's been too long since ive been to a little venue, with an empty stage with just a guy and a guitar.
He is charismatic and funny and talented and has such a pure voice. He was so charming. I think he thought that we, the collective audience was a little crazy because everyone was really loud and into it. But it was a lot of fun. And then i met him after the show and he was just as delightful!
whee.
Ric, the opening act was a total hippie. Not a good one though.

Went to see Paul Weller last night at the SECC. Superb gig. Sound in the hall was a bit iffy as per usual but it never took anything away from the gig at all!
Got the St Andrews Day/Versus Cancer gig in 2 weeks and then Stereophonics, Coldplay & Kings Of Leon the week after it. Reckon I'm going to be on first name terms with the bar staff by Xmas lol |
