Ok So i have a bit of spare time between present opening & dinner so I've jumped on the internet to thank Kristy for a most excellent boardie Xmas. (Plus this way I'm not having to peel potato's just now). Kristy, your presents were awesome and really well received. And so here we go with the presents:
The unwrapped parcel! oooooooh!!
And EVRYTHING UNWRAPPED!
So, in the parcel was:
A Green scarf with grey (perfect) edges. Hand knitted no less. Kristy did you knit this yourself? I'm assuming so from the letter. It's frickin unbelievable if it is! I'm big on scarf wearing. Prepare to see this featured in a LOT of photos over the coming months. Love the colour and absolutely love the personal touch. It must have taken ages to make?
A Moray Kilt fridge magnet:
Since I can never get anything with my name on it! Note the attention to detail with the safety pin kilt pin! Excellent job. This will be going straight up on my fridge when I get home, and will be used to hold up Kristys excellnt Xmas drawing of a house & a snowman!! I will also need another corner held up by the ode to J. eyeball fridge magnet. One of a kind and not available on weestore:
Finally, not pictured close up is maple sugar candy or "Sucre D'erable Mou Pur".
All in all, it has to be said, just an excellent Xmas present all round. Realy creative. I can't believe all the hand made touches that came with it, it's really put all my stuff to shame. Thank you Kristy, from the bottom of my heart. And to round it off, here's a picture of me in the scarf:
Excuse the crazy fresh out of bed hair.
Oh also - penguin wrapping paper! I LOVE penguins!
Right, I have to go peel parsnips. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Kristy, you certainly helped make mine
Merry Xmas everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

whoah!
KRISTY!
this is one of the best present-packages I've ever seen. Handmade and well thought-out: awesome!
How did you make those fridge magnets?
Really, you belong to the "cool people"-side of boardie-land! |

Awesome, Kristy should take orders for birthdays and next Christmas. We have some really talented and gifted folks on this board. |

Were you bummed that it wasnt what the box said it was, lol?
This was nice to wake up to! Havent opened yours yet, as I literally just woke up. But will do after I open my other presents.
I made it to CHristmas without cheating! yay! |

those are felt sewn together/embroidered to make the design. Then i bought a big ass magnet. Cut it up and glue gunned a piece of it to the back of each :)

Good morning, everyone! Merry Christmas!! :)
Here is what Laura sent me:
A hand-knit Christmas star ornament with Santa hat!
A cute picture holder (that's her card in there now) and I also got stickers and chocolate, which have already been eaten!! :D Yum!
The Chocolates also had a felt reindeer Christmas ornament attached to it. You can see it on my tree here next to the Steve Yzerman ornament Kristy made for me...
Thanks so much for the wonderful gifts! :)
