Hey, hey, hey! It’s peeing it down on the Southside too and my day has been brightened by this lo-fi return to board life. Our Ruby is gonna be kicking off when she gets in tonight (school concert dontcha know but my baby is drumming so all good). To have her being part of this side of Travisllife too is so sweet. My other one wee Caragh Bear came in from school wearing my old Travis hoodie from the turn of the century- representing Travis to the fresh meat of Glasgow.

Thanks, Dougie! It’s such a cute story, with a message all children should definitely read/hear – it doesn’t matter how you are/look, each and everyone will find their place in this world, sometimes it’s not what you expected though. And the illustrations by Rachel Seago go perfect with the text (love all the references to Travis!).

I’ve been visiting the website since The Man Who era, back when it was all white and built in Flash. I used to browse it without even knowing how to read English (^_^). Around 2007, I left a few messages there It was a very good time without algorithms and talentless influencers begging for attention. -

I joined a message board in mid-2002 for a second, hoping you guys were touring local and wanted presale codes. At the same time, also joined another band’s forum(starts with C..ends in Y) Became a boardie at the other one and then married a boardie 5 years later. 😂 Boards are fun. Thanks for bringing the platform back.

Hello boardies it’s good to be back 😊 🙌 Hope everyone has a good week. 🌞 is ramping up the temps in Las Vegas this week 101F today Tuesday 9th but 110F by this Saturday 13th. Hydration is key and definitely different climate from the SF Bay Area. Fond memories of meeting the band and seeing as many gigs as I could back then. Such good vibez.

@Dougie, fond memories of the ol’ Elliott-maintained Travisonline. Flew across the pond to see you guys at Brixton because of lovely peeps I met there. Many many shows later, and I’m happy to be back – a little older, a little wiser, and a LOT ready for a safe space in the world.
