Not through choice, but the Gabbys Dollhouse soundtrack has been getting some serious air time recently.
I’m really into ‘Stickin’ with you’ just now. Which I genuinely think is one of the best lyrics about friendship!You’ll be the glitter, and I’ll be the glue.

I’ve been Listening to a lot of twenty-one Pilots recently.
I know they are a bit mainstream right now, But I love them. Tyler Joseph’s creativity always leaves me speechless.
I could really get deep into all the reasons I think everyone should give them a try, and the lore they took ten years to build, but It would take all day and it would leave everyone wondering if I am okay. haha! So I won’t get into it. Just know, if you have never listened to them, they are worth your time

I’ve been enjoying Mary Janes by Maisie Peters, don’t know much about her but it’s got a great lyric. And then found an old song by a band Called Frog called God Loved a Woman, honestly it is a sublime track, the guitar is beautiful, the vocal is vulnerable, the lyric is poetry, check it out!!!!

I’ve recently discovered Myles Kennedy’s voice. His work with ex Creed members under the name of Alter Bridge is really good. The song “Watch over you” is absolutely beautiful. On stage when Myles and Mark Tremonti play together, those guitars are on fire 🔥 (check out “Blackbird” live at the Royal Albert Hall with the Parallax orchestra)

I’m loving a band called Kingfishr from Ireland, discovered them thanks to Killeagh, a song about a GAA club in Cork (my family are from Cork, so feels even more special), but my song of the day choice is their latest release, The Sun Will Never Settle, which is just so beautiful and I cannot get out of my head or stop playing.

Quite a different vibe but I just discovered a lady Artist called Annette Peacock – Zany stuff – she was into synth/vocal/ambient and sang with some different artists also – allegedly Bowie was a fan.

Not a new band and sounds very different from Travis but I really love Nine Inch Nails, their last tour was insane !
One of their best record is, to me Anyways, The Fragile but they are all epic!-

Trent Reznor has a talent for building songs with complex structures without losing sight of quality. Not to mention the lyrics… have you listened to any of their albums?

Listening to alot of Phil Collins era of Genesis. Invisible Touch and Duke has a lot of play at the moment from me, both really good and fun to listen to.
Domino (pt 1 & 2), Land of Confusion, Home by the Sea, Misunderstanding all great songs.

I am absolutely in love with Sierra Ferrell and her latest album Trail of Flowers. I was introduced to her when she appeared on SNL with Mumford and Sons and haven’t been able to stop listening to this album. Top track for me right now is called Fox Hunt.

Hilda is a lovely little show, based on a series of books that are also excellent. Hilda has been great for my girl being able to relate to, as Hilda shares a lot of neuro divergent traits.
Anyway, finding myself exploring more of Walter Martins stuff as it bridges that kids into adults space. And Let the tall ships sail is a bop.

Because I am Canadian and our national holiday (Canada Day) took place this week (July 1), I have been listening to quite a bit of Canadian music this past week.

Today I listen to the new Muse Album. Not every song is good in my opinion. But “be with you” or “cryogen” are very nice song and reminds my a bit of the nineteens songs of Muse 🙂
