Still love the one in Belfast in Dec ’99, Fran had his guitar nicked the night before in Glasgow and was found in a Pawn shop and swiftly sent over for the gig.

That was the night someone threw their knickers on the stage. The one and only time that’s happened haha… Yeah the guy was trying to hawk it in the horseshoe bar for £150. So glad I got it back. I was playing it a couple of days ago.

Hope you framed them. CBX as support too. Good times. Melody Maker gave it a good 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Mohawk must have knocked 0.5 off. So glad the Tele made it back into your hands and still gets some love.

Belfast. Ulster Hall. 2003. The day 12 Memories came out. Snow Patrol supporting, before they went astronomical. Dougie fell over during The Line Is Fine. Class night!

I was at the Dublin show in 1997 where Travis where supporting Oasis. Liam was sick and the crowd booed when Fran wished him well. Fran gave out to the crowd and told them Liam was amazing.Travis more than made up for Liam not being there they were absolutely amazing.
I saw them again last summer at Forest Fest, nearly 30 years later. This time I had to bring my baby along (older mum 🤣). Fran even waved to her. What a lovely full-circle moment.

Dubling Hteen energy Festival In Dublin Castle was stunning but nothing beats an Olympia show for me me. The Man Who Anniversary Show there holds a special place in my heart as it wass the first time my wife and I saw the guys perform together. We were lucky enough to wait and share stories and memories with Fran, Dougie and Neil. Amazing memories for life.
Come back soon!

Witnness Festival in Fairyhouse was somethin else, absolutely brilliant gig. Think I have few pictures from that too, disposable camera :/ imagine the quality!! :,( Beck and Paul Weller in support but plenty of of other acts that time like Embrace, proper music. I was to young for Fheile so this was next best thing for sure.

The Tripod in Dublin was good. Dougie introduced me to Neil Hannon afterwards. We had a good Father Ted chat.
