Although the songs on OTJS are beautifully raw and edgey, i cant help feeling that these songs (based on hearing them live already) translate even better live.( more so than any other album...If thats possible!)
If you are blown away by these songs (like me) when you hear the album, believe me when you hear them live, they will knock your socks off. Chinese Blues, J Smith ,Something Anything, Song to self and Before You Were Young will shake you to the core (lol) at a gig, honest!
Too early for me to comment on the album, but Friends is an absolute mellow masterpiece.
Cant help feeling that this song would have been a single, if on another album.
Hope most of you get your OTJS soon.
And to the rest of you, sorry you have to wait so long.
It will be worth it!
