Can someone who has this song send it to me? (I will be buying the album, don't worry). It's not on the Sun stream.
Thanks, and I will love you forever. |

This song is going to be amazing and really popular when everybody hears the full studio version in a couple of days.
Please bring the big gong and play it live on the UK tour!
It's an epic, immense, sad, moving, monster of a song.
That is going by just the samples and hearing it on the February tour.
I have ordered the album for Monday, and it is the best song to wait for... ever. |

There should be laws against writing songs like this.
Simple. Heartfelt. Addictive. Catchy. Superb lyrics. Epic. Distinctive. Incredible.
I'd go as far as saying it's left the biggest impact on me of any Travis song since I dunno, ever? I just love it. It's everything the live version promised and more. I want to play it 24 hours a day.
If in 5 years we're sitting here judging that there was a true all-time classic on OTJS, I think this is it. |

Hi Nikki, I just thought I'd add my words of support for you and the rest of the non-listeners. You're very brave!
Before You Were Young should be amazing, there's so many songs on Ode that are being touted as singles that they could spend half of their lives releasing them all :) I love how new albums make you feel like you love the old music more, I was listening to TMW earlier and the singles sound like absolute classics. I love Travis! |

It's my mission next week to find some way that I can crowbar BYWY into my lesson schedule and play it to the kids in my class. They're autistic and listen to 'nice' music as sensory exercises, so I'm gonna dump the classical music and stick 'Ode' in there instead.
BYWY has been in my head all ****ing day, replaced occasionally by Quite Free. |
