	I'm reading about The Loudness War. From what I can understand, music is being made louder and louder to compete with each other, but at the expense of clarity; of a 'sharp', clear sound. Just made me wonder where albums like Ode To J Smith will sit - in it's ambition to be a loud album, would any quality be sacrificed? From what I've heard from songs like J. Smith the quality seems dead sharp so it would seem the answer is no. I've always thought that when hearing songs like Driftwood on the radio it seems quieter than most - maybe that's because it hasn't had its volume pushed to the max in the production process.
