A good soundtrack can really make a great film, and thus can reflect fantastic music onto the viewer. Just watching High Fidelity, one of my all time fave films. I love the music in this film and when i first watched it i hadn't heard all of the bands, its just great how it introduced all these new sounds. I always love watching this film, makes you want to discover all the unheard songs out there and makes you think that you could be missing out on something great. Got to listen to some really great music now!

I just love that feeling, anyone else get it off a film?

I'm listening to 'The Virgin Suicides' album by Air, the soundtrack from that film. Haven't seen the film, but judging by this album, the film is brilliant!

24Hour Party People has an excellent soundtrack and a thoroughly entertaining "true" Story

notable songs from films...

The Aria from Hannibal
The Operatic/Dance Solo from The Fifth Element
Clubbed to Death from The Matrix (but actually written for a French Film of the same Name)
Where is My Mind - The Pixies at the end of Fight Club

Intermission has great soundtracks as well. It got me into Ron Sexsmith. A very good artist.
