I wonder what it is that makes one show better or more memorable than another? It seems like after a while, they'd all get to be the same and run in together so that you don't know where you're playing anymore.
What is that makes a show special to the band, not just the audience? |

I was hoping the bands first ever Barrowlands gig might have sneaked in their. Oct 1999. That was the most special one I've been to for a whole host of reasons.
Quote: Best bits about tonight. It was all good. Another little defining moment for Travis. A big moment. The best gig we've played. The best crowd we've played to. A real Elvis moment. All of the people, friends and family that needed to be there were there. There was no driftwood. It was a very lean night.
Although, also, the free concert outside Virgin on Buchanan Street was great too. Not a full set, but I loved that people queued from 3am to get tickets to that.
Nice to know what life is like on the other side of the fence though, for which shows mean the most to the band. I suppsoe everybody wants to be that audience that makes it extra special for those performing, and vice versa. |

Since it's hat week, I have a weird hat story, but it's more of a G-chat thing. |

Oh, just tell us, Kayte. I'm all about disrupting the flow of a thread *cough* hockey talk *cough*. Go for it. I started the thread anyway, so no one can get mad at you for poor MB etiquette, lol.
