... from a search that i did on google for Ode To J. Smith.
http://odetojsmith.wordpress.com/

It's fantastic. Full streams of J. Smith and Something Anything and 1 minute previews of Get Up and the b-side Sarah.

Which one of you made this? It's obviously a huge fan. (Come on now, own up and take the credit!)

Just a comment though. Please keep this updated with the album / single covers and the correct order of tracklist
(Slightly altered from the order played at the February gigs - with Get Up and Friends moved down the tracklisting).

Ode To J. Smith Tracklisting:
01: Chinese Blues
02: J. Smith
03: Something Anything
04: Long Way Down
05: Broken Mirror
06: Last Words
07: Quite Free
08: Get Up
09: Friends
10: Song To Self
11: Before You Were Young

This is a great way of helping Travis to promote the album.
Keep it up.

Lol, well spotted, that was me! I was going to add a few more things before introducing it to you all, but I was wondering whether anyone would find it first - you must have doner a good search on google because it's not obvious!

The aim is to promote the album, not necessarily to get Travis up the charts or anything, but just to make it easier for your friends to hear the new stuff and decide if they like it :D

Bugger. They changed the tracklisting. I'm going to have to redo a load of graphics now (they're not on the site yet). Thanks for pointing it out even though I slightly hate you now ;)

Oops. Sorry. But better to catch it early before you get loads of people commenting on it.

Kudos to you for creating the Ode To J. Smith blog!

ps - What about adding your site to the Hype Machine?
That would create a bit of extra buzz.

Thanks for the suggestion, but (sorry if I'm being stupid) how do I do that? :S

Hmmm, it's not working at the moment so I'll try again later

EDIT: Oh and here's another animation, it only plays once, so watch closely :)

Smart!

Wouldn't it be great if more mini-sites like this started appearing to hype up this new album?.....
