Sounds cool, Fred!
I'm growing my hair out, but keeping the bangs short. I haven't had really long hair for a while. I've never fully dyed my hair before, just highlights. I'm contemplating either getting blond or red highlights again, but it's just so expensive! |

Very brave of you to have the patience to let it grow.
My hair isn't nice so short cuts are a better option.
Can't you find a hairdresser that will come to your home for the highlights ? Many hairdressers make extra money this way. |

i just got really blunt bangs (see avatar). I really like them but my hair grows fast and i wont be able to see in a week! But i got tired of my side swept ones which i have had for...3 or 4 years.
I died a chunk on the side/back of my head bright red for random fun, and it was kinda cool, but not me at all. It has faded to a kinda cool blonde chunk though. Cost me a fortune for what it was!
are you going to post pics, Abs? |

I've grown my bangs out but my hair otherwise looks pretty similar to the way it looked on Judge Joe Brown. I've been thinking of growing my hair long again. Just because I'm still bored with it. It looks good but I'm just bored. I'd still have layers so it'd still be stylish.
My best friend has voted no. I guess I could gather votes here if I post a pic of me with long hair. I'll try and do that tomorrow. |

i put a 'panel' of blue in my hair last week. just a little in the front to see how it would go. it worked. gonna be gettin' rid of my red streaks soon and let the blue take over. woohoo |

That's so fun! I've always thought it looks really cool when people with dark, dark brown or black hair get red or blue streaks. You can pull it off because it looks so subtle, yet totally rock n roll if you catch it in the right light! :) |

Ooh, mahogany is pretty.
I actually just went to the salon today, got my side-swept bangs trimmed, thickened, and added short layers around my face. My hair has always been quite long, currently 15 inches down from my shoulder at the longest point. Each time I go in for a trim I keep adding different layers : P. It's quite nice at the mo (if I do say so myself)! |

My hair is quite long for me at the moment, a bit like Minnmess' avatar, but without fringe. There's a really short bit in the front to keep the hair from falling on my face and some sort of semi-fringe that is sort of nowhere… Some overgrown highlights in my brown hair. Anyway, I'll be seeing my hairdresser next week, so heaven knows how it'll be after that.
I had very short hair for years, but I'm quite enjoying the movement now – wind even has an effect on it! Don't want it long enough to have a ponytail though, as it'll only go to knots and takes ages to dry (been there) |
