how otherwise could you understand this decision. I find this pretty shameful, seems this is acceptable in China

that is really annoying and sets a really bad standard.
And furthermore, the girl that they did show kinda freaked me out bc she was so perfect.

LOL. I didn't like her either. I don't like when kids perform like that and lose their kidness.

This quote from the article is the worse:

"The girl appearing on the picture must be flawless in terms of her facial expression and the great feeling she can give to people."

Flawless. That's dangerous and wrong for adults let alone kids. The real singer looked fine.

there, at the time I said it looked like she was miming! Hubby said it was because I didn't know the language! Poor lass who's voice was used! This isn't right - CHina should give the impression that it is all inclusive not just for the 'right' people who are pretty enough. SHe doesn't have the voice therefore she shouldn't take the glory.

Awwww, poor kid. I think the girl who had the good voice was cute! Something else I saw said it was because she had crooked teeth. Don't most 7-year-olds have crooked teeth or even missing teeth?

an "imperfect" (by their standards) kid would have been way better. Some kid with lopsidded pigtails and a jack-o-lantern smile. The use of freaky robot kid perfect kid is ridic. Although I kinda feel bad for her too, bc it's not it was her decision and she probably didnt even understand or know what was going on.
