hola peeps! as some of you may have noticed i have not posted any jason updates as of late....he's been back in PA visiting family. i found out he'd be back at my church one more time before taking off for Greece.

well tonight yours truly got the nerve to ask a mutual friend (Adrian) which Sunday that would be. He gives me a "mmhmmm...why do you want to know" kind of smile/smirk and says "why do you want to know?" haha so i say " well i'm on the connections team and i want to be sure to say bye to him before he goes" haha Adrian says he'll find out and proceeds to text Jason on the phone writing "Celleny wants to know.." haha but only messing around.

ANYHOO....i found out it's next Sunday

Sooo....i come to you all and ask for your votes!

All in favor of a mix cd (consider this my "say anything" moment hahaha) with songs about l.a. / california as a homemade parting gift say 'aye' (or something to that effect) .....but also to include this song 'nothing came out' at the very end

i will also be taking him a cupcake from Susie cakes! ;)

this is obviously my final attempt to set up any kind of connection to possibly be facebook friends. :P

your thoughts/suggestions are always appreciated!

Hi Cel!
Well, I think you have nothing to lose, go for it! It's a shame that he's going to Greece. But maybe you can remain friends, and that's a good thing :o)

I think your going away present should be a huge wet kiss with lots of tongue. He won't forget that anytime soon.

I received that as a "nice to meet you" gift once. We'll be married 14 years in October. But mix tapes are cool, too.

On the other hand Goos, both Anne and Kayte are happily married. They may be right. ;)

Still think you should do it. You can always play it off, "What? I thought that was a Greek custom to tongue your friends as a good bye gesture. No? Oops...my bad."
