Fantasy football for the 1st 20 today, a goal up before I'd got properly sat down, 3-1 up within 16 minutes. What followed was a 75 minute lull, where Burnley played nice passy passy stuff but couldn't do anything with it, and we contained them, and countered and swarmed beautifully. Sodje makes us look a different team, he went off after 20 odd minutes though, possible hamstring/ligament injury.
Oh, and yeah, this is the last time we topped any league, September 1996...
(Look at some of those teams though, Wigan/Fulham/Hull in the equivalent of League 2)
Top of the league tonight, from 3.03pm when we went 2 up til at least next weekend, with the little matter of Wolves away to deal with.
Top goalscorers too. And 20 places above the Blunts. |
