Well, if you have to look at things you can't afford, you may as well be doing it in London.
I'm fine. Making dinner now. |

Boring. Meatloaf, peas, and some sort of potatoes. Haven't decided if I want mashed or homemade French fries. I have to decide within the next 5 minutes. Probably fries because the kids won't eat the peas. |

ZOMG did somebody mention spuds...cos you know i'm irish and all that...
btw can i recommend with fussy eating kids, since i was one of them-hiding the peas in something they like.then rubbing it in their face when they realise they've actually enjoyed something they swore was gross and icky.
i've literally eaten icecream with corn, corn became my favourite veg:) |

I still am one of those picky kids! I get so sick of eating since my likes are so limited. I wish it could be like on the Jetsons where they just swallowed a food capsule and they were all set.
As it turned out, my usual stellar French fries turned out not so great (they stuck to the skillet), but for some reason, the kids ate the peas. So, alls well that ends well. Even my son, who does not like ANYTHING, at least tried a bite of each. That's all I can ask. I can remember my mother getting frustrated and trying to MAKE me eat things. You can't make someone eat. Although bribes help. |

I make a pea lunch for my kids with bacon and onion in it. If they don't eat the peas, there's not a lot else to eat. I'm a mean mummy, LOL!! |
