re: a new chapter
eight interviews later, eight rejections later, a complete restyle, mini-break-down, a haircut just in case that was the problem,several combinations of handbags/shoes, remembering to smile more, going from emphasizing how much i love art to considering toning it down since it might seem to sound airy-fairy to realising that if they don't want me as i am i don't want to work for these people in the long run, losing out on jobs to friends, going from sounding clueless to possibly over-prepared for interview questions( sometimes it's hard not to when you've answered the same thing eight times in the space of one month)...all this for 1.5 job offers, i say .5 because one of the offers was so up in the air and unstable that i couldn't take it.
who would have thought that the the people from my first interview would turn around and offer me a job after all?
I finally have the offer of a grown-up job that i might just accept and i am petrified and excited all in one.
need to find somewhere to live, plan my year, figure out how i am going to fit college in along with being completely shattered by all this new work and responsibility.
just wanna say thank you for all the lovely supporting things people said when i was ranting about how much i hate interviews , really appreciated it
p.s. i can pretty much guarantee that i will be ranting about lots more once i've actually started in the whole mess that is grown-up life so i just thought i'd give advance warning.

Dee, that's fantastic!! Can't believe after all this it winds up you're getting the first job you interviewed for. Things work out in really strange ways. Congrats on the job and not having to interview anymore!!!!
