hey everyone!
i was just having a look at the new UK dates and i figured i'd really love to go to london... but yet, i'm from germany and i'm not sure at all if and how this would work. how do i get tickets? and how long does it usually take until travis UK gigs are sold out? (which means, how long do i have to decide? ;) ) and then... how will i find the venue and where will i sleep??
lol this is all really complicated and driving me insane for the last couple of hours.
i mean, i *SO* wanna go as my semester break will end in october and i haven't really planned anything yet, which is annoying. so it'd be nice for a holiday as well...
i was just thinking that maybe someone else is thinking about travelling to london as well?
or maybe someone is living there and can manage to both get me a ticket and a place to sleep?? lol ;D
arghs, i dunno... i'm confused =( |

I have no idea how quickly it will sell out. If I were you I'd buy a ticket tomorrow and sort out the details later. You can always sell it if you just can't work out getting there.
About finding the venue, I am confident you can get lovely directions from a map, figure out what tube station is close by, etc.
You could even do a search for hotels near the venue and just stay there. |

yeah, maybe i'll do that...
where will i find tickets, though? in germany we have eventim.de which usually gets them first.
is there a special page you'd recommend? |

I might be all over London. Depends, if there's a good international contingent then I might pop along. |

Ok I'll write this in German, it's much more convenient ;)
(I'm just going to tell her which hostels in London I know, so non-German-speakers, don't worry, you won't miss anything spectacular):
okay also
schau mal hier: http://www.hostelworld.com/

Well, actually if I'm not wrong... The Apollo is in Hammersmith... And Hammersmith is right near Shepherd's Bush road. And that road is full of cheap hostels... The rooms are not too big, but it's cheap and close to the venue.

I know the Piccadilly Backpackers Hostel, its just 1 block from Picadilly Station its very centric and cheap, but would be far if you'll going to Astoria... let me check if theres one near by there... |
