Hello all, my name is Luis. Ive always wanted to see travis on live, my favorite band; well, I was waiting (like a lot of people) for the next travis work, new song, new single, new anything !!! but the years passed...
I told my mother that it would be like a dream for me going to Europe and see them on live on their hometown Glasgow, but she (and other people) told me the truth: they were not doing any UK tour at that moment and nobody knew if they were even planing to do one soon.
The time just kept passing, I entered to the university and suddenly a little mail came on my email; I will never forget that morning, I was reading the new Travis UK tour and the new CD that Ive always been waiting for, Glasgow was there (of course) and you could even buy the tickets. I told my family, I was like crazy, but... that travel was too expensive for my parents and I didnt have too much saved money either (well at least they have a new CD and new songs). I dont know why but I felt years ago that I was going to see them on Glasgow the next time they were doing a tour, it was like the destiny promised it to me. After almost resigning myself, a miracle happened, my uncle (he is like my second father) told me: "You need to go to Europe, you will learn a lot there and you will also improve your english, it will be a lot of experience for you in your life, I will buy the plane tickets for you and I also buy some other destinations in Europe for you" (Ive always wanted to know more about Europe as well) so it was like the the complete package. At last !!! I had almost everything ready for the big trip... but then people asked me: and who is going to go there with you? who is going to tell you how to get there and all the destinations you need, to the hostel? to the Airport? to the concert venue? all alone in Europe for 3 weeks??? I was so determinated to live my dream that I didnt mind, I decide to go completely alone to Europe. People told me that I was insane. My uncle and my parents saw that I was so decided to leave alone that they just supported my desicion and to be honest I wasnt sure at all what was going to happen.
Everything was perfect, I bought tickets for the Glasgow concert and also for the London`s gig on May. I met so many angels that helped me find the way, I went to 5 countries and 8 different places. Met a lot of great people and then I finally met Travis in person. I went in that order to: Glasgow Scotland (Travis concert), Paris France, Gent Brugge and Brussels in Belgium, Koln Germany, Amsterdam Netherlands and London England (Travis concert).

hi luis, just wanted to say that your story sounds beautiful, to travel such a long way is amazing, and even better that you seen a band like travis and that they personally interacted with you. Luis you are so cool, i think the world would be a better place with mre Luis's in it, i really do.
Luis, Thanks for sharing that amazing story! It really brought a smile to my face! I'm so happy for you that you were able to realize your dream...good for you!
Wow that's an amazing story and you started your trip with a Travis concert, and ended it with one! Haha! Awesome!
What's funny is that I always imagine myself doing something like this kinda...going to Europe (mainly UK and Ireland) and just going to a bunch of concerts, but it always seems like a 'dream' or something in the distant future. However, your story gives me hope! lol I've wanted to go to UK since I was 15...I can't wait anymore!
