I'm looking into getting a camera. Since i'm quite into photography, i want to get quite a good one, but don't have a lot of money to splash on an expensive one.
If someone could help me out by telling me what they think of these two models, that'd be great:
Fuji FinePix S5700
Kodak EasyShare ZD710
Cheers!
ps. If you can recommend a good camera similar to these for anything priced up to £150 ($300 approx.) then i'd very much appreciate it :) |

Paul, I have a Fujifilm FinePix S700 and I love it! I'm not an expert, but it takes great pictures!

I don't know if you saw the "summer pictures" thread I started last week, but I uploaded a bunch of super-close up flower pictures I took with it and they're pretty sweet. I just discovered close-up mode! ;) |

if those are your options I'd pick the fujifilm... I've never been a fan of kodak cameras.
besides, it looks pretty good for that price. |

as far as standard point and shoot (the sort of middle of the line that you are look at) I've always liked Sony. |

Paul, before I went onto DLSR's I was Fujifilm's all the way. Got some awesome shots from them. |
