Does anyone know any legitimate websites about song meanings? I've been looking around but can only find sites that fans have made comments about what they think the song actually means... Are there any websites where there is a legitimate source (for example band members)?

That's a cool idea but I've never heard of such a site. I imagine that would be quite challenging.
If something like that existed I imagine it would still be fan driven. For example fans postings bits from interviews where the artists explain things.
Of course so many artists prefer to not nail it down so it can mean what makes sense to you as the listener. |

Yeah, I understand that completely but it's always neat to find out what the artist was thinking of or who the artist was thinking of when they wrote the song. :D |

Oh I agree with you! I love when they share the process of writing and how they came to write a certain song, choose certain words, etc.
But some aren't as forthcoming about it as we'd like. |

There did used to be a U2 site like that which listed every song and had quotes from the band as well as some interpretation about song meanings. Was an interesting read really |
