I've come to the conclusion that I'm the most boring person ever. I seriously can't think of one interesting thing to write my column about this week. Maybe I can write about how I don’t have anything to write about, lol. :( I hate you writer's block!!! |

What kinda stuff are you supposed to write about? Fun stuff, serious stuff, stuff that's happening in the D or what? |

Have you done your complete Travis appraisal yet? Telling everyone how wonderful they are, teehee! |

Oh no...I'm saving my Travis masterpiece column for this fall when they tour here again. It's gonna be awesome. :)
I can pretty much write about anything I want, whether personal or fun community stuff. It can’t be too serious or controversial though.

Let's see, the Henry Ford and DSO are having the Salute to America concert and fireworks July 2-5.
Do you have the Michigan Festivals, Fairs, Cultural Events and Destinations guide? I was handed one at a parade. Try this: http://www.michiganfun.com and click Places to Go. There's pages and pages of stuff.
Ummmm, how about the rise in popularity of (and new word invented) staycations? What people do (backyard camping, day tripping, etc.) because they can't afford to go away. That's why we got the pool.
Same thing with people growing their own vegetables--gardening is really becoming popular. I read that the seed companies sold 3 times the usual amount of seeds this year. That might be back to boring, though. I find it interesting, but...I'm kind of a boring person.

Something centered around 4th of July?
I got bored just writing that sentence though.
You could write about how people who get married on 4th of July are generally prettier, wittier, and a great addition to any party! |

Thanks for the help, guys. I already wrote about the 4th of July. Our next issue comes out the 7th. Gotta think in advance here. :/ I think I'm just gonna go home and think about it for a while...and get some food, lol. Maybe my brain will work better that way. :O)

A food column - all about the biscuit exchange, haha! Not sure how many copies that'll sell though. |
