From July 3, 1989
First frame:
Calvin is running frantically saying, "IT'S JULY ALREADY! OH NO! OH NO!"
Second frame:
Calvin says, "What happened to June?! Summer vacation is slipping through our fingers like grains of sand!" Hobbes looks at him with no expression.
Third frame:
Calvin is crazed, crossed-eyed, "It's going too fast! We've got to hoard our freedom and have more fun! Time rushes on! Help! Help!" Hobbes just watches Calvin.
Fourth frame:
Hobbes says, "I don't think I want to be here at the end of August."
Calvin starts running again, looking at his watch. "AAUGH! It's a half-hour later than it was half an hour ago! Run! Run!" |

Your description works just as well though. What hes feeling about July is what Im feeling about life at the moment. Must be the old age |

I love that cartoon. Very appropriate, since I was feeling that exact same way today. The year is 1/2 over and what have I done? Sigh... |
