Let's pretend you've been kidnapped by a group of deranged individuals. You have to choose between two options. If you choose neither they will take away all of your posters, sell your son into slavery, and make you attend SF Jacks meetings.
So you HAVE to pick one. Would you rather:
a) listen to 1 hour of Journey
b) listen to 1 hour of Night Ranger |

My c) was what they'll do if you don't choose a) or b) but Turtle's suggestion is good but could be seen as a way to listen without actually listening.
So c) is listening to both one after another
d) is they take your posters, your kid, and make you go to SF Jacks. |

See he's trying to use it as a way out. There's no way out. You must pick one. |

So you'll endure them for the Grateful Dead? |

I think I've only heard 2 Knight Ranger songs. I think I'd go for Knight Ranger. They really don't bother me that much.
I heard Jesse's Girl by Rick Springfield this morning. I still kinda like it.
And Duran Duran. You know when DD was really popular, back in the days of yore and parachute pants, and all my friends were putting pictures of Simon and Nick in their lockers, I really didn't like them. But now, when Duran Duran comes on the radio...I like them. I stop and listen every time and wonder why I used to find them so objectionable. |

Ric thinks it should be in Austin since that is in TRAVIS County and also right next to Austin is a city called Driftwood. Driftwood is basically just a post office and the Salt Lick- an awesome BBQ place.
Ric, I will happily buy your meal at the Salt Lick if you can somehow get the convention moved here. |
