So you know every other week, some magazine comes out with of "Best of..." lists. It's hard to determine whats the best of what, because of course everyone has a different opinion of what constitutes the best. So I thought it's be cool if we could have a place to post the lists and agree or disagree with their contents
EW (Entertainment Weekly) just published it's 1000th issue, and they decided to put out a lists of various "New Classics," since 1983, which is when I'm assuming they first started. I'm bringing this up because I have quite a few qualms with the music list

The New Classics: Music

Qualms Column
1. Green Day? Awww man!
2. Blueprint - Jay-Z ranked a little too high. In my opinion The Black Album is better anyway.
3. In what world does Kelly Clarkson, The Emancipation of Mimi, and Eminem outrank OK Computer. But like I said, it's all a matter of opinion.

Here are their other lists:
The New Classics: Movies
The New Classics: TV

Oh, Andrew.

You will never let that go...

Speaking of the movie list, does anyone think that Titanic is one of the most overrated movies ever? Yes, it was a big blip on the pop culture map. Yes, it was visually stunning. But some of the acting was not all that great, I didn't really care for the story. And Speed? SPEED?! WTF?!

Some of these films I really enjoyed but others I have never seen and would prefer to keep it that way.
Also The West Wing was one of the best shows ever to be on telly if you ask me.

Music is missing a Strokes album in there.

Film is missing Return of the Jedi, Anchorman, Dumb & Dumber, Big Trouble in LIttle China

TV is missing Scrubs, Flight of the Conchords, Peep Show, Da Ali G Show, Father Ted, Spaced, Blackadder, I'm Alan Partridge, Fawlty Towers, Band of Brothers, Neighbours, Due South, and, appreciating it's an American Publication - Match of the Day and Top Gear

I'm really surprised that they didn't include Scrubs, it's pretty big in America. As for Spaced, Blackadder, I'm Alan Partridge, Father Ted, Neighbours, and Due South, those never aired on American television so... no one saw them (excuse me, no one who created the list saw them). I had to hunt Spaced down on YT. I'm surprised that BofB is not on the list either. Maybe they left it off because it was a mini series.

Yeah, Spaced was on A&E... AT 2 in THE MORNING! That's kind of a lame time slot.

And yes I misspoke. Blackadder was on PBS.

Due South! Canadiana at it's finest! Love Scrubs too.

Glad to see Gilmour Girls, Friday Night Lights, Felicity, Party of 5, etc.
Saved by the Bell? Hilarious!

This did! I only saw the pilot/movie. I never found out it was a series until way too late. I'm still pissed.
