| I just checked my Myspace page and when I clicked "home" to view my Inbox, a picture of Fran flashed by in a Samsung advertisement. If you have a Myspace, log in and tell me if you can see it!! :D |

| Hmmm...now my Myspace is showing a Spin Magazine ad with Weezer on the cover, but last time I logged in it was Samsung with Fran. They probably rotate the music ads. It may eventually pop up for you if you refresh enough times. It was cool to see him on there, though! I wasn't expecting it. :) |

| Well I saw it earlier today and did a double take, and suddenly realized it was Fran! So I captured the still with the intent of posting it here, then I saw your thread, so there we go. :-) |

Did Fran go to the Secret Myspace Show with Gnarls Barkley and Battles?
SIDE NOTE: There was a myspace secret show in my city, waaaay before I got a myspace. (still thought they were lame) and when I got one a had realized that MAXIMO FOOKIN' PARK had done the show. I wept tears of regret.

Okay I figured it out:
Fran DID go to the 150th free MySpace show in New York with Gnarly Barkley and Battles (EDIT: Now confirmed by blog). And there was a photo booth there and he got his picture taken. Then the people there probably saw him and went, "Hey, that guy's famous!" and used him for the ad... or maybe that was just coincidence...
