I realise that question might have sounded i was taking the piss , i wasnt.
The apple genius thing is a bit of misnomer. They will claim to give the best training you can get , but it aint true.

The point of the Apple genius is supposedly to help customers with their problems.
But really ,the prime objective is to push Applecare insurance to customers.
I suppose if you dont mind having to meet targets and doing the hard sell rather than what the customer thinks you are there for, it wont matter.
Just letting you know what you might getting into.
