The biscuits part suits that Oreo's thread in G-Chat so well! Hahaha.
And the biscuits/cookies exchange one too, of course :oP |

Ok, I feel compelled to throw this out:
Is a kit-kat a biscuit, or is it a chocolate bar? |

I can just imagine you sitting there trying not to ask, but eventually succumbing to temptation. :) Both Wiki and unencyclo say it's a confection though the latter does elaborate as far as a "scrumptious treat that's great to eat!"
While we're on the subject, look at the international flavours of Kit Kats - I want personal confirmation from all the Japanese boardies that they've never ever eaten a caramel and salt Kit Kat! ;)
How can Dougie not like custard creams?! This is almost an avatar-changing offence! :D |

Kit Kats are chocolate covered wafers. It depends on whether one would consider the wafer a cookie/biscuit or not. It is sort of a cookie/biscuit...but not exactly...it's a wafery thing. There is a proper name for those kinds of wafers, but I can't think of it right now. They are the consistency of an ice cream cone with a little cream in between.
According to the article posted on G-chat, custard creams are the favorite UK biscuit.
By the way, if anyone wants to sign up for the international boardie biscuit/cookie exchange, do it now. Anne's making the list. |

Kit Kats are definitely chocolate. The definitive analysis:
1) You can buy Kit Kats in the chocolate stand at Tesco (or other supermarket).
2) You can't buy Kit Kats in the biscuits aisle.
3) They must be biscuits. |

Calling it a confectionary seems the cheap way out to me. :P I reckon its a chocolate bar... or at least I reckon it aint no biscuit, which makes the biscuit-testing game Travis participated in void! Void I tell you!!
Wow that's a lot of Kit Kat flavours. Ok, my official life ambition: to eat every type of Kit Kat in existence. :D |

You'd better get going on the biscuit exchange thread then! :P
Are you sure you want to try a cherry-blossom flavoured one? |

Apple kit-kat?! I'm not sure I want an explanation for that one. It sounds, in a word, disgusting! I'll have to ask my Japanese neighbor 'bout that one. |
