| Yep, the album's been finished for a while. They are giving Dougie paternity leave for a bit, but they're doing festivals from early July, so a late summer release (August/September) is likely. |

| Geez, I think they did a great job getting it finished so quickly! They went right from touring on TBWNN into the studio and banged an album out in a few weeks....giving us blog updates and a song-by-song breakdown along the way, lol. |

| We've had no news this month so I expect we will soon. If not in the next 2 weeks I'll start to get a bit concerned to be honest. Blogs, diaries, information every week and then nothing for 5 weeks (which it would be in 2 weeks) ... mmm... I guess they're back together soon to rehearse so we will soon. No news on release, the record label business, art work which Franny said he'd upload. I'm sure its nothing to worry about though. |

If the interview on Songbook is anything to go by there is literally nothing to worry about. The band has no ties to a record label. They've worked to their own schedule, not anyone else's, and if for no other reason than cost effectiveness, they've layed each track quickly and efficiently.
Fran was extremely positive about Travis in the post-Independiente era in the conversation.
Then he mentioned he wanted to release as many albums as he can before his hair all goes (said in humour!) :)
As I said in the "Songbook" thread, it's a very positive time for Travis. Chill folks, this release will happen.
Although, erikausagi, maybe hinging your personal survival on the release date is taking things a bit far.... ;)
