Ugh, I booked time off my work for holidays .. my stupid boss assumed it was for exam leave ... and then we had a waitress walk out and huge staff shortages for the day my holidays were booked for. They were like "it is for exams and not holidays" so i was like yeah.
Went in tonight and they were like u look knackered cos my exams finished yesterday ... so i was like, aye i was oot last night, i've just a presentation to do at uni on monday and then i'm away on holiday for a few days to italy ... just to get round the whole situation ...
then i remembered, there's someone who works at the hotel, not very often tho just when there's shifts she can do ... where does she work? the airport ... am gonna get fucked!!! whats the bets she is working tomorrow?! grr ... advice guys!
A year ago today, I was dancing away in the music hall ... ahhhhh |

Try not to worry about it, who's to say this airport person just didn't see you the day you flew.
but a tip for next time I know it's not easy but just tell your boss, look I'm really fucked and need the time off, explain to him why you are so tired and exactly why you need the time off. If your boss appreciates you in anyway he/she will make an effort to make sure you are a contented worker and will also appreciate your honesty, If not Fuck him/her maybe it's time to find a job where you are appreciaed.

I agree with Dubz! Honestly usually works best and it doesn't make you feel shitty! Most bosses would understand the pressure you have been under and give you some slack, if not then time to look for new job. x |

Dunno what I was really complaining about to be fair ... the hotel got taken over by a company and its awful! I'm so leaving! No one spotted me on holiday haha apart from these 2 customers who come in the hotel for a meal with a tranny ... sooo very random, standing in Verona airport and I was like "Noooooooo way" even weirder I spotted them 54 miles from here back home at my local festival ... it really is a small world! |
