Im musician (Guitar and Bass Player) Started a Band and I was wondering how do you get those sound that I love, so: here´s the question:
Andy, Fran, Dougie: Which Effects do ya use?
(I only know that andy has a little pedalboard...)
Dont Know if the rest of you use some or not
And Finally:
Andy: Which efects do you use on Good Day To Die?

i'm not part of the band,,, but i know a little,
in case of andy i see a controller (must be midi) in the main part of his BIG pedalboard,,, also a BOSS Tremolo (for writting to reach for example), an mainly uses a line 6 delay modeler wich is gorgeous,, (also expensive),,, boss chromatic tuner, and also in the left part of his pedal board is a dunlop cry baby, but i've read that he uses only for the sound, not the wha wha classic sound, he says is hard to mantain the same effect everytime,,,

A lot of those cool sounds are also created using an EBow.
Yah.....Andy is a master at the ebow....always amazed how consistent he is with it live.
I know! Those things are hard to use!!! (at least for me, lol)
That's probably got a lot to do with the fact he's almost motionless when he's using it- it's like a different guitarist compared to when he plays something like the Beautiful Occupation solo!
