What? Sorry don't understand what you're getting at.
And yes, I imagine that if English isn't your first language, it might be difficult to understand them in it. |

Yes it's a song called "Would You Like to Swing on a Star?"
Bing Crosby singing
They are saying silly alternate lyrics to that tune. What I hear (Texan translating Scottish) is
Fran: Would you like to drink in a bath?
Dougie: Yes I would
Fran: Put your face in a lager's bath?
Dougie: Yes I would
Fran: You'd be better off than you are
Dougie: I suppose so
Fran: Would you rather me a log
Dougie: A dog
(end singing)
This part is a lot of them talking over each other so I was more going for the gist than word for word exactness.
Fran: It's mind over matter
Andy (I think): Really?
Dougie: I would doubt it strongly
Dougie/Andy/Neil up the pool from 10 to 20 to 50 quid while Fran says, "Don't doubt my chi, it's not a matter, it's not a matter of money"
They finally say 100 pounds and that Fran has to prove his chi. Then Fran says, "We bringing money into the matter. I've never been one to turn down a bet."
Then, "It's a deal. 100 quid?" And I think Neil says, "it's yours for the taking, or is it?"
I think Fran says, "easy money" (or maybe it's the rest of the boys)
Then the boys are mumbling "there's no way he's going to make until 12"

It is, but it doesn't happen as much as I thought it would. It surprised me a lot to understand everything they said when I met them. I was a bit scared, but no, it was alright and fluent xD. |
