the more and more i listen to this track the better and more mental it sounds, neils drumming sounds ace its the best i've heard from him since say love will come through.

i think this is really going to be an amazing album i can't wait to hear more, your vocals sound top draw fran too, love the ooh!! can't wait to see andy playing this one live!! im sure the on stage antics will be mental!! great bassline as well from dougie!!

don't agree that it sounds like queen, my dad thinks it sounds gothic with the choir bits and the mental parts before and straight after the choir!!

well done travis you've done it again!!! by the way this totally wipes the floor with the new coldplay single!!

this is the best since 12 memories for me, i was really looking forward to an album where andy lets rip can't wait to hear these new songs live!!!!

LoL! You said almost the EXACT same things as Paul. I agree with you both...this song ROCKS so hard!!! I love it more and more each time I listen to it. I put it up full blast on my way into work this morning and was just like O.O "wooooooow"!

a sounds like queen?... not, it`s impossible

queen, did the road

travis, put the rock

well, i think that these comparisons can`t be done, because are different epochs

You’re right. The song sounds nothing like Queen, but I think the comparison is being made because of how epic it sounds. The choir parts are very Bohemian Rhapsody-ish. It's just that blend of classical and rock styles that people are hearing that’s making them think Queen.

hm, to me it reminds me more of Beatles at the beginning actually, or classic American rock with the back and forth melody. but then the song shifts to more modern-ish rock? especially with the electric guitar and the choir. haha that's just my opinion. fran wasn't lying when he said this album would be intense!! i sort of don't understand the choir part though =( but maybe it will just take more listens.

one thing is for sure though. J. Smith definitely takes a sort of minimalist approach. from the beginning with is clearly minimalist with all the gaps and pauses, to the fact that they're not using acoustic-y swooping melodies and stuff like what we heard in Closer and previous songs.

yes/no?
