Perhaps you already know this stuff, but for those who do not:

Apparently 'Violet Hill', Coldplay's new single, will be available at Coldplay.com to download for free for a week, from tomorrow. Also the new album is out June 12th, and seems to be out everywhere else within a week later.

Didn't expect to be getting the new album in just seven weeks time.

Oh, and the album artwork:

It's called 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends'. No idea whether the whole title is mandatory or you get to chose between the two. :p

I've not heard the new single yet, has it been playing on the radio?

They're playing it on xfm Manchester tomorrow at 12 and have a competition running today for the chance to introduce it on air so any huge fan might want to check that out, plus there's other Coldplay related stuff there inc. winning tickets etc

Info here

This painting is usually associated with the french revolution - not sure i understand why they picked it for their album though.

Thanks for showing the cover. I´ve just read that in some hours (12 more or less) we´ll be able to listen to that first single on the radio. I´m sure they´ll keep being as great as they´ve always been.
