It boggles the mind to think that someone can be so evil. The father must be a psychopath.

I read this yesterday- the sickest thing I've ever heard of.
What about her mother? Did she live in the same house? I don't get it. |

Yes she did. She even raised 3 of the children. Apparantly, the father had told her that the daughter had left them on the doorstep. Hmm. |

The oldest girl had become very ill (as in unconscious), and had been admitted to a hospital. In her pocket, she carried a note from her mother that they should take good care of her. They found out that it was from this woman who'd been missing for so many years, so they told the police. |

When I heard about it, I wondered how it was possible for those persons to survive.
Moreover, what this girl's father has done to her is really perverted.
He destroyed their lives.
I guess it shows how twisted the human being can be.
Even now, I still have some difficulties to cope with this information, whenever I hear about it. |

It's a bit like Jack Nicholson who was told that his grand-mother was his mother while is "sister" was is actual mum.
I think he discovered the whole thing in his 20's. |

Well not quite; as far as I know, his 'sister' was a teenage mother so it probably wasn't a bad decision. Plus I'm guessing that he had a somewhat normal upbringing compared to this Austrian woman... |
