Went to see KT Tunstall last night at Preston. Naturally, it was amazing. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x66/Jearoon2/Smilies/9-Grin2.gif

I was a bit concerned when I first booked the tickets that the seats (I originally wanted standing but they'd sold out) would be miles away from the stage and would feel really isolated from the action. But not so. The Guild Hall is actually pretty ideal for seats, there's loads of 'em. They often film snooker matches in there.

But yeah, Katie was great. Can't remember the exact setlist, but she opened with 'Little Favours', they played all the singles, and loads more including Funnyman, Hopeless, Universe & U and Miniature Disasters. Katie talked and joked with the audience pretty much after every song, which was awesome.

One of my favourite performances was probably 'Beauty of Uncertainty', even though it was never a song that really drew my attention on the album. It just had this great atmosphere about it, and built up to these haunting but beautiful 'ooohs' from Katie and the backing singers, plus cool guitar work from the lead guitarist. The only thing that was a bit crappy was I didn't get any quality photos... seemed to be a combination of being reasonably far off and just the camera didn't like the lighting. But nevermind. Got a couple of short video clips if you want to check 'em out. So if you haven't seen Katie live yet, do! Seems she's touring all over the place over the next few months.

Anyone able to tell me what this song is called? I don't know it.

wicked! sounds like fun :)
i must admit..i wasn't too keen on her when she first came out..but i'm starting to like her alot more now..
I think she's a good representation of a female guitarist and singer as there aren't many out there sadly..

Ah cool, I guessed it was either from her acoustic one or a b-side. Enjoy Saturday!
