Though it changes from time to time, it's been my favorite of theirs for a while now. Sing just never gets old to me (though Side does). |

I ADORE The Invisible Band! It was the first Album I ever bought and Side was the song that got me through some bad times and into Travis' music. It's still my favourite album and it has my favourite lyric:
'When I was young things didn't last, My only cares stemmed to the price of sweets, Now I am older I can laugh, A dolly mixed-up man with rotten teeth.'
So yeah, I'm in love with it lol. |

hmmm this is a strange one... it contains the most easy happy Travis songs and I really like it, it doesn't touch me as much as all the other albums do.
For me the TMW is still the most awesome album of all. |

TIB is a fantastic album, everything, the songs, the mix, the production, the artwork is perfect and quite simple (but anyways, amazing).

The Invisible Band is a brilliant album! I hold that on the same level as many people hold The Man Who, not saying I think it's better than The Man Who but I'm saying that I hold it on the exact same level, most people I talk to seem to think oh The Man Who, mainly because of Why Does It Always Rain On Me and Driftwood being on it. But I love Sing, Flowers In The Window, Dear Diary, Safe, Side and it has two of the songs I wished were singles on it, Pipe Dreams and Follow The Light.
It is also where I borrowed my name from, The Invisible Boy lol.
I just love the idea behind the name of the album, the band that you hear on the radio and like but never really follow them or see them, you just listen to the music frequently on the radio. What a brilliant idea for a name. |
