There's a freebie CD, Dawning of a New Era, with loads of "Specials" related tracks on it.

Yeah I have my reservations about it too. If it does go ahead I reckon it's gonna be a disappointment. |

Hmmm, maybe not, If they can get them all together for a short sharp tour, It might be quite good, less time for them to fall out, mind you I saw Maness a couple of years back and they have become quite good musicians so they've lost a bit of that rawness, Specials can only be the same... They were only kids first time around.

But what if it's in like big arena type places? I just have it in my mind that it'd be ace to see them in a smokey little club venue, booze and boots kicking about the place, skanking with all these skinheads. In reality I imagine it would not be anything like that.
Saying that I have seen Madness a few times and it's been pretty good. |

Yeah they were great but it was just a little strange. all these 30-40year old somethings, dressed up like Ska heads again for a brilliant night out.
There's a club in Dublin "Voodoo" (supposed to belong to Huey, Fun Lovin' Criminals) which does DJ sets, I've seen Terry Hall, Neville Staples, Jerry Dammers & Ian Astbury. Not all on the same night of course.
