even if against my late will not to read even just the cd sleeves (long story) I got my shole bunch of cd singles today and I stumbled about a beautiful live version of Slide Show on the CD 2 of WDIAROM. On the sleeve it says it's taken from a live internet broadcast from the link cafe in glasgow on friday 28th may 1999 and that "you can hear the whole session at the band's website" aka here.
Now, I know I'm talking about some time ago (some almost 9 years ago, fine, just to remind myself how much older than I should be I still am no matter what) but any chance is still hidden somewhere? |

I was actually surprised and touched by the ending "thanks for listening".

"That's it, thanks for listening. Thank you."
Dougie: "Cheers."

I can still remember sitting listening to that streaming across t'interweb. I'm so old!
The link cafe no longer exists in Glasgow. It's like a body shop now or something. |
