Does anyone remeber the band "The Seahorses"? I'm looking at Dubz, gladly and esteban here..... well i was out for a few beers tonight with a mate, and well, we popped along to a local pub for some live music. £3 in and it turned out Chris Helme was the main act - aye, Chris Helme from The Seahorses, John Squire's band after the Stone Roses. Aged 16/17 Do It Yourself got heavy rotation on my tape (!) player. Still does on the old mp3 player. Well, intimate setting of 50 or so people and we got treated to all the old Seahorses stuff. Apparently he is a friend of the pub owner. Well my friend Andy is a local DJ, so he tapped Chris Helme up for a spot on his show tomorrow and I got to say hello. Just a very sweet, and unexpected twist to the evening. I love it when that happens. |

Strap-on Sally chased us down the alley, we feared for our behinds.
Cheers Moray, given me something to download in the morning now. He had a good voice, although I was getting on for 20 when they were doing their thing.
Knocking on the door of 4am soon here Lauren. |
