Yes! Yse is it. I am absllteuy frozed which is hy i cant type. not drunkl but just too cold. was outside for 7 houts today waiting to meet em coz my sister wanted to, met robyn hitchcock again and bill rieflin, he's a duuude. john paul jones fi led zep was playing with hitchcock! was cool. But not worth the £45. Mostly new REM songs, which were good, but not worth £45 that I dont have.
My fuck, this is te first time in my life i've put my coat on AFTER i got in! |

Encore was:
Imitation of Life
uhhmm... I can't remember it was too cold.
Man on the Moon obviously. Ah fuck it, I cant remember. Each rem member told an albert hall related story tho. Aw. Scott McCaughey is the bestest. |

They were on for the duration of that radio show, and then did 3 or 4 more songs, so not really. Definately not £45 worth of songs. Especially as the encore consisted of another new song and then a couple of obvious songs. It would've been better if they did a couple of rarer songs yknow?
Robyn Hitchcock was good tho, he's so funny.
Sorry I make it sound so negative, it sounded absolutely amazing, the acoustics in that place were top quality, never heard any gig that good. But the content was nothing for me to get too excited about. New stuff sounds great tho, looking forward to getting the album!
Also, the other two support acts (not Robyn Hitchcock):
Foals - they were absolutely shite like I thought they'd be.
The Duke Spirit - better than Foals. I quite like the squeak in the singers voice, she's a sexy lady! |

Yeah but there were 3 support acts... that's so much, esp with a 11pm curfew, they still had time to play a coupla songs. Show started early as well, doors were at 6:45! |

Hmmm, yeah, I think I'd be feeling a bit miffed too if I were you...£45 is a lot to shell out if a band don't stay on stage very long! It was over v fast on the radio but I thought that was just cos I was doing other stuff at the same time as listening and not paying 100% attention. Oh well. |
