"never gonna give you up,
never gonna let you down,
never gonna run around and desert you,
never gonna make you cry,
never gonna saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay goodbye,
never gonna tell a lie and hurt you"

what is Chatteris if you're not there?
like a game-bird reserve short on pheasants,
weavers cottages devoid of tenants,
a market town that lacks quintessence,
that's Chatteris without your presence,

Dubz

or...

We spent the night in Frisco
At every kind of disco

Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat
Beat on the brat with a baseball bat
Oh yeah, oh yeah, uh-oh.

What can you do?
What can you do?
With a brat like that always on your back
What can you do? (lose?)

The Ramones! Excellant tune :) lol

in all seriousness i really like the lyrics to this song by nancy sinatra

I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down

reminded me of...

Two little boys had two little toys
Each had a wooden horse
Gaily they played each summer's day
Warriors both of course
One little chap then had a mishap
Broke off his horse's head
Wept for his toy then cried with joy
As his young playmate said

Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Jack and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys

Long years had passed, war came so fast
Bravely they marched away
Cannon roared loud, and in the mad crowd
Wounded and dying lay
Up goes a shout, a horse dashes out
Out from the ranks so blue
Gallops away to where Joe lay
Then came a voice he knew

Did you think I would leave you dying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon be flying
I can go just as fast with two
Did you say Joe I'm all a-tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys

Do you think I would leave you dying
There's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon by flying
Back to the ranks so blue
Can you feel Joe I'm all a tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys

OMG Haz! We were singing this all day at work yesterday. My editor started and then it was stuck in everyone's head. Weeeiiiird. Oh, and when you sing it, you have to use that low, slightly creepy voice. lol.

Dubz, this is the second really long poem that I recall you posting. Did you have to memorize these for school or are you just a memorizing type of person?

Sorry I'd love to say I have an amazing memory but given my alcohol intake there's no way people would belive it.... Cut & Paste I'm afraid.

What time is it?
Summertime
It's our vacation
What time is it?
Party time
That's right, say it loud

What time is it?
The time of our lives
Anticipation
What time is it?
Summertime
School's out, scream and shout!
