if you haven't seen "the princess bride" then you are so missing out!
the actor who plays the revenge-driven spainard, inigo montoya, is named mandy patinkin. he was also in the original cast of "evita", has been in many other broadway productions, and has appeared in shows like "criminal minds", "dead like me" (funny as hell!!!), "chicago hope", and movies like "yentl" (for all you barbara streisand fans and jews lol). i just adore the man.
well, i saw mr. patinkin in concert on the 15th and i must say, it was beautiful. not only is he an amazing singer, but he is freaking funny! oh well, i'd better get to class. hope everyone has a nice day, and go see "the princess bride"!!! cary elwes is so cute!!!

yeah that show is rather depressing. it is cool from a scientific point of view, but there isn't any funny moments. i'd rather watch NCIS because it is puzzling and funny. |

| I saw it for the first time last month. Classic! I had never even heard of it, just picked it out on a whim. I was surprised it was such an old movie...judging by little Fred Savage. (I was a Wonder Years fanatic!) |

i loooooooooove that video. he was amazing. i love the second act when all of the cutouts of him pop up out of the stage lol |

those things are crazy!!! if you get the dvd, the behind-the-scenes stuff talks how they got small people to dress up in those costumes. it is awesome though. |

Count Rugen: [Rugen draws his sword and lunges at Inigo who then forces the blade to his left shoulder. Again Rugen lunges at Inigo and the blade is deflected to Inigo's right arm]
Inigo Montoya: [Rugen swings his sword but Inigo blocks it and then begins advancing] Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.
Inigo Montoya: [He falls on a table. Rugen attacks and Inigo blocks four times before he continues to advance on Rugen]

Count Rugen: [Now Rugen attacks five times and Inigo blocks every single one]

Inigo Montoya: [Rugen attacks and Inigo blocks it and then stabs Rugen in the shoulder. Then Rugen swings his sword. Inigo ducks and stabs Rugen in the other shoulder. Then he advances quickly and they fight] Hello! My name is Inigo Montoya! You killed my father prepare to die!
Count Rugen: [Rugen gets his sword knocked away and Inigo slices his cheek] No!
Inigo Montoya: Offer me money
Count Rugen: Yes
Inigo Montoya: Power too promise that!
[he slices Rugen's other cheek]
Count Rugen: All that I have and more. Please.
Inigo Montoya: Offer me everything I ask for.
Inigo Montoya: Anything you want.
Count Rugen: [Rugen attacks but Inigo grabs his arm and stabs Rugen in the stomach]
Inigo Montoya: I want my father back you son of a bitch.
[Inigo plunches the sword into Rugen's gut and he falls down dead] |
