my brother and i had a horrible second hand version, we used to have competitions to see who could throw their car the furthest off the tracks.
it was taken off us as the amount of sparks were enough to burn the house down if they caught.

Scalextric rocks! I always used to play it with my Dad when I was younger and our old dog used to end up chasing and biting the cars. I don't think we ever managed to do a lap without the dog trying to eat the cars lol.
